Overview / Responsibilities
Wood is currently sourcing for a Lead Commissioning Engineer, this role is Melbourne based and you'll will also be required to go to site.
You will be responsible for the development of Commissioning procedures and plans during the execution phase of pipeline compressor project. Key to success in the role will be the ability to provide technical guidance as well as mentoring engineers as appropriate.
You will be required to demonstrate a strong technical knowledge of Commissioning activities engineering within the Oil & Gas industry, preferably with Turbine Compressor expertise
Developing commissioning procedures and plans
Providing discipline expertise to the business
Executing assigned scopes of work
Delivering against contract KPI’s and business objectives
Scoping the project Completions Management System (CMS)
Review documentation including contractor’s documents and drawings
Ensure technical queries are managed in accordance with process and procedures
Skills / Qualifications
Relevant Engineering or Trade qualifications in an appropriate discipline
Oil & Gas Onshore and Offshore expertise
Commissioning experience including planning, leading and execution (Site commissioning expertise is preferable)
Experience in using a CMS (Pims Completion preferred)
