Reporting to the Heath Systems Manager, the Senior Test Analyst will analyse requirements of a project or release. You will create test documentation for a project/release, writing test cases from requirements and execution of test scripts and management of your own defects.
You will also ensure the application under test meets customer requirements and quality objectives. As part of this process, you will be required to evaluate test results, document issues, and notify project teams of potential/suspected problems. You will also be required to contribute to the continuing improvement of the testing and quality assurance of the applications under test.
We are searching for a professional collaborator with a can-do attitude and ability to think ‘outside the box’ to deliver best practice solutions to all stakeholders.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to;
Provide consultancy and leadership to AU staff and Customer, Delivery and Technical (CD&T) staff on Health Systems related development
Consultation for the documentation of business specifications for identified system enhancements
Manage own operational and release task performance
Responsible for developing and refining the test plans, covering functional and non‐functional testing.
Build, share and retain critical in-depth knowledge of the systems developed
Given this, the Test Analyst will work with both Business Analysts and Developers to:
Review the designs of systems and features to ensure testability
Review and revise high‐level acceptance criteria
Document and implement test plans primarily in JIRA
Contribute to the test planning of releases and projects.
Following testing methodologies and procedures
Ensure business critical systems are always fully operational in conjunction with CD&T
Preparation and execution of test cases for system modifications and bugs so business operations are not unduly affected after the implementation of modifications
