Practice Manager - Reservoir Veterinary Clinic
Reservoir Veterinary Clinic is a small animal veterinary practice, providing veterinary service at the highest level. With an established core of committed clients we are seeking an experienced part-time Veterinary Nurse/Receptionist, with energy and drive to contribute to our committed and compassionate team.
We are currently looking for a motivated and compassionate Full-time Practice Manager. This role requires commitment to 76 hours a fortnight, including Saturdays. Part-time applicants are still encouraged to apply.
The right candidate will have a commitment and passion for high level patient and client care and the desire to provide exemplary customer service. The perfect candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team whilst demonstrating strong communication skills, along with having a collaborative team approach.
We have a very strong team base and feel it’s the right time to appoint a highly motivated and experienced Practice Manager to lead our Veterinary practice. The Practice Manager’s responsibility will be to oversee the effective operations of the practices, this will include:
Leading and managing the team to ensure our great culture is maintained and the highest standards of patient care are being delivered at every level.
Working with the directors to develop and implement business plans.
Providing professional and competent support to the team and playing an active role in their development plans
Challenge us to build upon our high standards of care and service.
Develop effective organisation systems and protocols to maximise efficiency and smooth workflow
What we are looking for:
Veterinary Nurse with 4 + years’ experience highly desired but not essential
An applicant that can commit full-time hours to the position will be ideal, however part-time applicants are encouraged to apply
Previous Practice management experience in small business management or supervision, particularly within a healthcare/similar industry
An ability to lead and manage a dynamic and high achieving team
Exceptional customer service skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated client relationship building skills
A hard-working and a hands-on approach to your work
A willingness to roll up your sleeves and get involved at all levels, with energy and drive
Effective time management and organisation skills.
Sound business knowledge and financial understanding with the ability to review financial information, set and achieve targets, and implement effective plans
