They like to think outside the box when connecting with children and their families by providing ‘Sensory Garden Playdate’ events, being involved in fundraisers and providing sensory and play activities for a ‘Teddy Bear Community Picnic’.
As a Paediatric Occupational Therapist, you will develop and implement individualised and family centred therapy programs for children who require support with promoting play, motor skills, social skills, emotional regulation and sensory processing. This includes functional capacity assessments, observational assessments for NDIS application and screening assessments for Autism. Working with children aged from 0 to 12 years who have developmental delay, disability, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, sensory processing, or behavioural difficulties.
Working with both private and NDIS funded clients, therapy is provided in the clinic, kindergarten, home or school environment.

Key Selection Criteria: (Please address this in your application)
Bachelor of Applied Science in Occupational Therapy or equivalent
Current registration with AHPRA
Minimum 1-year paediatric experience (Preferred ) however open to new graduates keen to work with paediatrics)
Current driving licence with own car
Current Police and Working with Children check
Ability to register for Medicare
