Contract: Cement Supervisor
The client is looking for a person with an expanding international oilfield services team to source an experienced Cementing Supervisor for their operations across South Australia and Queensland.
These roles will ideally be as a permenant employment with the goal of developing a long term career. Ideally you will be experienced in Cementing as a Senior Operator or Supervisor overseeing crew and jobs.
Primary responsibilities of the Cementing Supervisor include but are not limited to:
Plan and execute cementing operations and associated services and activities according to the specifications.
Attend pre-job planning meetings, prepare and supervise the technical service provided by the team.
Complete all relevant job documentation.
Provide onshore supervision and support for cement operations when required.
Responsible for operation and maintenance of cement unit and associated equipment
Provide quality control of all products and mixed fluids on site, including technical analysis and specific product and practical recommendations for controlling fluid properties.
Perform pressure testing as required
Maintain inventory at customer well sites.
Provide effective customer service by providing rig-site customers and onshore coordinators information regarding the progress of a rig site and create/implement solutions to rig site problems.
Previous experience as a Cementing Supervisor
Physically fit with the ability to complete medical testing
A strong mechanical aptitude
Ability to work within a respected and skilled team and demonstrate the highest level of professional capabilities
Completed basic training on cementing
Industry experience and product line training required
