Indirect Proposition Lead

Do you have experience in Indirect Tax or Global Trade in Australia or the APAC region? Do you have a commercial mind set and go to market skills? Would you be keen to influence, lead and shape Thomson Reuters Global Trade and Indirect Tax products in the region?

We are seeking a person with significant Indirect Tax and / or Global Trade expertise to lead Proposition and teams for these products in Asia & Emerging Markets.

The role will devise and build strategy, determine priorities and drive commercial outcomes and business cases for the products in market. We are looking to recruit a person with strong Indirect Tax or Global Trade technical skill and experience, commercial acumen and industry experience from firm, regulator, in house or vendor and experience working with tax or global trade technology.

About the role:

Global trade and indirect tax are key regional growth drivers. The intention is for the appointment of a leader to provide:

Ensure appropriate commercial focus on key related propositions
Articulate and build a multi-year growth strategy across the Indirect and Global Trade portfolio's
Strengthen people management to drive heightened engagement, retention and development of key talent and strengthen alignment with cross segment team – sales, marketing, finance, product, services etc.
Ensure strong stewardship of time sensitive platform retirement and migration program
Analyse and remain up-to-date on the competitive landscape and develop prioritised proposition roadmaps and strategies
Prepare long term business cases and champion incremental investment and ongoing business support in line with agreed strategies and business objectives
Initiate and play a key role in ensuring investment projects are delivered to agreed scope, schedule, specifications and budget
Leverage relationships with industry contacts and key stakeholders in support of strategic and go to market objectives for Indirect Tax and Global Trade.
Oversee and proactively maintain pricing and packaging to optimise gross and net sales outcomes

About You

You’re a fit for the role of Indirect Tax & Global Trade Lead AEM if you have:

Extensive Indirect tax or Global trade experience
Exceptional people management skills and experience.
A creative, commercial, customer-focused professional with product, proposition management or relevant consulting experience to help us:
You are capable of ensuring our products will help clients achieve their commercial, productivity and compliance ends.
Partner with go to market functions to formulate and deliver on strategic segment approaches and campaigns to drive increased adoption of Indirect Tax solutions
