Are you a passionate podiatrist who wants to focus on outcomes for your clients rather than throughput and having to upsell? This is an opportunity to provide podiatry services to community health, private and NDIS funded clients, based in Kerang providing services across Gannawarra Shire and the northern end of Loddon Shire.

The demographics are varied working with some children with a disability or developmental delay and mainly an aging population with chronic illness. Your role will include assessment, planning, setting priorities, and providing treatment strategies for the implementation of appropriate podiatry interventions.

As part of an interdisciplinary team with podiatrists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists, diabetes educators, dietitian, and allied health staff you will be involved in podiatry related health promotion education, promoting good health and goal setting to enable your clients to better self-manage their podiatric chronic disease and support executive team in planning and evaluating podiatry services for the community.

Key Essential Criteria: (You must address this in your cover letter)

Bachelor of Podiatric Medicine or equivalent
Registration with AHPRA,
Implementing appropriate podiatry interventions for clients.
Understanding of and ability to work in an interdisciplinary framework.
An ability to work independently and cooperatively with team members.
To demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise with persons from a wide range of backgrounds.
Demonstrated ability to provide and maintain a courteous and professional service to all individuals and groups.
A demonstrated understanding and commitment to the concept of health promotion, integrated care, community development and community health.
To display sound organisational skills through efficient time management and professional responsibility.
Strong computer literacy skills
Current Victorian Driver’s License, Police Check, and Working with Children’s Check
