Flying Bark Productions has a few exciting opportunities to join a team of talented artists working in house on two awesome children's TV series we're producing ourselves.
We’re looking for experienced and enthusiastic Lighting Artists knowledgeable in Katana who can work from our beautiful studio in Sydney or remotely elsewhere in Australia though all applications are welcome. Please make sure to include a link to your showreel with a full breakdown of what you did shot by shot with your application.
To be successful you will be able to:
Work with the Creative leads to interpret the visual goals in context of the tools and processes of the project by following and matching briefs, review notes and references provided.
Use Katana and Arnold to light and render CG shots as part of a sequence ensuring the execution and delivery of high quality visually appealing shots that are in line with the Director’s vision.
Use Nuke to create a pre-composite tree that combines rendered elements.
Maintain consistency of lighting across all shots.
Optimize and troubleshoot lighting and rendering problems in a fast-paced environment.
Work closely with the compositors to bring shots from lighting through to final while maintaining timing and production quotas given by the production coordinators.
