On your days off go fishing, diving, hiking and exploring our beautiful region
Your new role will see you responsible for the maintenance and repairs, fault analysis and reporting of all pump equipment associated with the DAF Filtration System, Reverse Osmosis Plant, various potable water pump stations, the Sewerage Treatment Plant and associated pump stations.
You are a cup half full kind of person, with a “can do” attitude, you’re organised, friendly, polite and enjoy working in a close-knit team and understand that the role you are performing is critical to our guests enjoyment of the Island.
To be successful you will have:
Maintenance Fitter trade qualifications
Minimum 2 years post trade experience
QLD open/unrestricted driver’s licence
Ability to be approved for and hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent personal presentation
Prepared to be rostered "on-call" and wear a pager as required
Previous experience in the Tourism/Resort industry is desirable
