Company Description To manage the Human Resources function and ensure that policies, directives, activities and outcomes supports the strategic objectives of the company and creates a work environment that inspires, empowers and rewards employees.Job Description1.1 Human Resources ManagementWork with the MD to strategically plan HR initiatives that will benefit the company and encourage more efficient employee relationsContinuously develop, update and maintain HR policies and procedures.Foster cross-functional relationships and ensure managers and employees are properly connectedManage and supervise other HR staff, ensuring they are assigned and carry out proper tasksUnderstand and adhere to all pertinent labour lawsManages the implementation and administration of policies by ensuring that it is aligned to company needsLiaise and guide management on best employee practices in the workplaceTimeous compilation and submission of the annual EE ReportResponsible to approve the annual ATR/WSP prior to submissionInitiate and arrange for the annual verification of the BBBEE CertificationContribute to the evaluation and development of HR strategy and performance in co-operation with the senior management team1.2 Internal, External Partners & Client EffectivenessInitiate and maintain a good relationship and rapport with external stakeholdersRender an effective HR support service internally to create a need for the use of and for these services across disciplines1.3 Labour RelationsResponsible to ensure labour stability through fair employment practicesDevelop, update and maintain Disciplinary Policy ,Procedure and Directives documentContinuously review Company Operational Rules to ensure relevance and complianceResponsible to attend to all negotiations with union/s from time to timeRepresent the company at the CCMA in all dispute matters (Conciliation/Arbitration cases)Act as chairperson in all complicated disciplinary hearingsOversee the day to day handling of disciplinary matters (written warning, final written warnings, notice to attend disciplinary hearings and authorization to deduct from employees salary)Counselling of employees on continuous basis9.4 People ManagementProvide professional advice to all staff on HR related problemsApply a comprehensive knowledge of business structure and work flows to maximize organisational structure around customer.9.5 TrainingEnsure the development and maintenance of an H R Development program to facilitate the development of employees and to ensure a constant supply of competent staff according to organisational strategic requirementsOversee the recruitment, induction and orientation of new employees9.6 General HR AdministrationDirects establishment and maintenance of employee records systems, personnel filing system in compliance with POPIAEnsure that monthly employee statistic are compiled and accuratePrepare and submit the Dept of Statistics Quarterly Submissions.Review and update the HR Manual on annual basisOn monthly basis check the drivers pay roll for any discrepancies before paymentAdminister and control the preparation of all relevant HR documents for the B BBEE verification9.7 StaffingResponsible for the recruitment, interview and appointment procedure of all admin, finance, technical and training employeesEnsure that the appointment contacts are legally in compliance with labour lawOversee the recruitment and appointment processDirect the recruitment and training for new employeesNegotiate placement Agreements with Recruitment AgentsQualificationsRelated HR / Psychology Degree will be an advantageAt least 3 - 5 years experience as a Human Resources Officer or HR GeneralistHR Experience within the Call centre industry will be highly beneficialAdditional InformationSalary: Market RelatedIf you struggle to upload your cv please visit our website at Click on Jobs Available, the position you are interested in and click on I'm Interested and upload your cv to apply for the position.Alternatively email your cv to the email address on our website.
