A person who builds polite infrastructure projects a modern digital engineer.The Infrastructure Engineer will assist with the design, and support the complex hosting infrastructure systems and technologies within a multi-datacenter environment. You will be very hands on, providing a holistic view of all hosted enterprise systems, developing the monitoring strategy for our infrastructure.You Bring:Certification of A+/N+, MCP, MCSE and MCITP;Understanding and experience with Windows servers ;Knowledge of Disaster Recovery methodologies and best practice;Experience in Server Patching, WSUS;VMware, Virtualisation;Experience working on OS, Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory.Nice To Have:Cloud experience;Advantage Red Hat OpenShift certified RHCE;Linux Certified;Networking Certification (Network+, CCNA);VMware certified VCP.What Youll Do:Participate in design discussions with Senior Engineers;Assist with escalations from Infrastructure Engineer I;Participate in schedule tasks such as daily checklists;Participate in on-call rotation;Possess and display basic skills in the following areas: technical troubleshooting, vendor management, customer service, communication and project management;Leadership in design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise grade monitoring solutions;Participate in discussions for applications performance and infrastructure outage incidents to provide monitoring observations and updates;Assist in schematically depicting systems architectures, topologies, hardware, software and signalling links into complete systems configurations;Build and maintain group policy to meet organisational security standards, and keep users productive;Accept changes to tasks, plans, and procedures in order to align with strategic direction of the organisation, and appropriately adjust behaviour and activities to changing conditions;Base decisions and evaluations on a careful and systematic review of relevant facts and information;Generate new ideas and challenges the status quo, take risks, support change, and encourage innovation.The Company We Keep:At BET Software, we don't just recruit talent, we cultivate it.
