Description Maintenance Supervisor Johannesburg Salary: R40-45K Per Month Purpose of Position:Complement Recruitment are recruiting for a Maintenance Supervisor from within the Manufacturing and Production sector to start as soon as possible. This is a permanent position, salary is R40-45k per month, excluding overtime. This position is based in Vanderbijlpark, candidates must reside in the surrounding areas, should there be a breakdown on-site, the Maintenance Supervisor is the first point of call and will need to be available on short notice. This position reports into the Maintenance Manager. Senior Technicians with supervisory experience welcome to apply.Check out Our Site Apply Directly for this Job by clicking here - Minimum Requirements :Grade 12; Relevant Trade or Tertiary Qualification ArtisanExperience leading a team (min 2 years)The individual must have worked in a Production / Manufacturing environmentOwn Transport reside in Vereeniging / Vanderbijlpark areasCandidates who are available immediately will take preferenceSkills And Knowledge:Artisan experience in a manufacturing and production facility2 years minimum supervising a teamMust be hands on and be excellent in root cause analysisDisplay strong problem solving and decision-making skillsSolid understanding of Health & Safety Regulations and PracticesFantastic organizational and leadership skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsWorks well under pressure and meets tight deadlinesComputer literate with capability in email, MS Office and related communication toolsGreat time management skills; Great eye for detailDuties:Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work, scheduling and planning of job cards record keeping and statistics for future planning for maintenance and spares requirementsCoordinates the installation, maintenance and repair work in the facility, allocate work as per forecasted workloadsMaintain, troubleshoot and test all equipment and assign employees to various projectsManage a team of artisans, technicians and operators whom regularly inspect the site to identify problems and conduct necessary maintenance - execute work as necessary,Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and supervise and train workers where requiredOversee all equipment and repairs to ensure that work is completed on timeReport any faults in equipment or production immediately to the Maintenance ManagerComply with all health and safety regulations and practices of the plantConduct preventative maintenance work & Conduct follow-ups on all maintenance and repair work; Conduct safety inspections as scheduledEstablish strategies to meet workload d.special-hidden { display: none; }Id Subtitle
