Sap Ism Application Support Specialist
Main Purpose of the Role The support of systems and applications currently used in Media24 with a primary focus on SAP Sales and Distribution, materials management and related peripheral systems.Requirements:National diploma in Information Technology or equivalent SAP qualification.At least 5+ years IT experience in an SAP project, customer service and/or production support environment. SAP Sales and Distribution knowledge required.EDI knowledge (SAP IDocs) (advantageous)Materials Management knowledge (advantageous)IS-Media or IS-Retail (advantageous)Key responsibilities:Responsible for maintenance, support and configuration of systems and applicationsResponsible for problem solving by applying the correct procedures and documentation, and providing feedback according to SLASupports new technologies as requiredProvides input and recommendations regarding improvements to the operations of systems and business processes supportedInvestigates business requirements and proposes subsequent solutionsResponsible for testing and implementation of new modules and enhancementsNew projects where sales processes are onboarded to SAP Sales and DistributionEnsures optimal availability of related systems, e.g. EDI (Idocs) in order to meet the contracted service levels for 2nd and 3rd level supportGiven the employment equity policy of Media24, preference will be given to suitable candidates from the designated groups.Based on our risk assessment, being fully vaccinated against Covid-19 is an inherent requirement of this job.
