Key Responsibilities: Drafting and reviewing of employment contracts and all other employment related documentationGuiding HRBPs in relationship and key negotiations with trade unions and other representative forums as appropriate with a view to securing business performance,Ensure accuracy and up to date Employee Relations related informationReports on Employee Relations Activity throughout the organizationRepresent the company at external forums including the CCMA, MEIBC and Labour CourtManage and deliver Employee Relations related trainingMonitor developments within the labour relations field and advise on best labour relations practicesProvide advice to HRBPs and line managers in respect of all employment law mattersProvide employment law advice on operational transformation projects and draft necessary legal documentation to ensure legal compliance in process employee engagement and legal complianceMaintain and update all Employee Relations policies and procedures, in line with best practice, legal requirements and in support of the organizations strategic objectivesConsult and advise HRBPs and line managers with regard to employment legislation, policies, and proceduresImplement and maintain a comprehensive Employee Relations administration systemMinimum Requirements:Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or Law (BA Law/ BCom Law / BProc / B Iuris etc)Postgraduate Degree (LLB) would be an added advantageAdmitted Attorney/Advocate would be an added advantage5 7 years experience specializing in dispute resolution, legal compliance and stakeholder engagement will be a preferenceExperience in Employee Relations matters in Africa (Angola, Mozambique, Botswana, Namibia, Zambia, Lesotho and Swaziland) would be an added advantageCompetencies:EQ and Interpersonal SensitivityInfluencing and negotiationJudgement (decision making)Business and financial AcumenTalent Management AcumenProgramme and Project ManagementCreativity (Innovation)Verbal and Written CommunicationAttention to detailDrive, Energy and Initiative (Results-focus)Organisational AwarenessCustomer Responsiveness
