At a minimum, this will include having responsibility for regional indirect procurement, logistics, trade management & risk.In this role you will report directly to the Managing Director, Truck Business in South Africa, and be functionally aligned to the Dir SCM for Vehicle Group in EMEA.Job Responsibilities:Lead the delivery against Key Performance IndicatorsCollaborates, leverages and negotiates contracts and programs for defined local categories that fully satisfy stakeholder requirements, to reduce business risk, total cost of material & services, or eliminate inflationary pressures through validated cost avoidance actions.Recommend and implement measures to improve performance of the Indirect, Logistics & Trade Management projectsThrough a strong coalition with Truck Finance, manage the effective definition, validation & reporting of value for SCM and Procurement led initiatives to ensure recognition of contribution & specifically impact to the bottom line of business results, maintaining the records of savings projects within the Cost Out Database for locally deployed Lead performance management & coaching in personal / management development of local team, ensuring effective development plans, including SCM curriculum use and deploymentQualificationsRequirements:Appropriate degree or experience in the fieldA minimum of 5 years experience in the aftermarket related to the automotive businessKnowledge regarding medium and heavy duty transmission and clutches will be an advantageSystems knowledge MFGPro/ OracleMicrosoft Office Skills (Excel knowledge essential)Effective communicationWhat Eaton offers:Inclusion & Diversity - Openness to diversity widens our access to the best talent.
