Branch Manager (Logistics Courier Services)

The Branch Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient daily operations of the hubensure and maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction and customer serviceUpdate and maintain time and attendance records of staffMotivate staff and maintain a positive work environment including the strategizing, execution and providing of feedback to staff with regards to the results of the incentive scores weeklyTo ensure the timely delivery of parcels to our customers within the SLA requirements To effectively communicate policies and proceduresComputer literate/knowledge on the RMSMonitor staffing needs and personnel issuesOversee all line hauls / Cargo received and dispatchedOversee Dispatching/Receiving processes for all routes including assessing risk in cases where there are high value movements and taking appropriate action to secure the parcels in questionEnsure that a routine alcohol tests are done on COURIERS randomly on a weekly basis Ensure that random checks are done on couriers daily to make sure that couriers are true on delivery attemptsDisciplinary issues are dealt with timeouslyAssessment of routes and values are done correctly on dispatchEnsure that the warehouse is always neat and tidy and that all faults are reported and addressed timeouslyReports sent daily of hub statusEnsure hub and fleet is maintained in good working order at all times to ensure the safety of all staffThe successful implementation of all new systems and procedures and communicated by head office and the facilitation of all change management interventions on an ongoing basis.RequirementsApplicant must be fully vaccinated Ability to liaise with clients on all levels on customer satisfactionMinimum of 5 years Supervisory/Management experienceAny Logistics/Transport qualification would be an advantageComputer literacyValid Drivers LicenseAbility to write reportsHealth and Safety QualificationsComputer literate/knowledge on the RMSWill have to work flexi hours
