Roles & Responsibilities:Responsible for the support of the SolidWorks PDM ProfessionalProcesses include PDM Pro Management, User/Group Management, Software Installation, User Permissions, Workflow development and documentationConfigure and maintain PDM Pro system and improve the processes described aboveExecuting and managing regular maintenance tasksManaging and resolving level 2 and 3 service issues and requestsDiagnose and solve a range of issues, including, but not limited to: software deployment, PDM, migration strategies, installation and licensing, and software performanceTraining users, creating training documentationWork with both IT and business partners to develop recommendation for system (retain or replace) and business process improvements.Consulting the business analyzing requirements and enhancement requestsImplementing configurational and other changesWork within a validated environment and support validation testingTechnical documentation of changes and write user manualsParticipation in risk analysesCollaboration with internal and external partnersProvide weekly status updates on supportEscalate issues to next levels for engagement and resolutionMaintains contact with all organization functions especially engineering, manufacturing, applications, and IT Required Skills & Experience:Ideally experience with PDM system(s), preferably SolidWorks Enterprise PDM/PDM ProfessionalExperience in designing interfaces and integrating with other systemsExcellent communicator as well as have strong technical skillsAbility to work well with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical and business expertiseStrong Analytical skillsExcellent facilitation, collaboration, verbal and written communication skillsAbility to troubleshoot and provide solutions to a variety of technical and interpersonal problems2+ year experience working in a mechanical engineering group in a manufacturing production environmentSelf-starter with ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment. PreferredExperience with CAD tools like SolidWorksWorks under minimal supervisionAbility to work independently and as a team playerExcellent team facilitation, and interpersonal skillsFamiliarity with cloud servers and infrastructure Academic Qualification:Bachelor degree in informatics or similaralternatively several year experience with PDM system(s), ideally with SolidWorks Enterprise PDM/PDM ProfessionalLocation and Work Environment: We are hiring in Bangalore India.
