Buyer Materials


Due to continued growth our client a Groundworks company based in Swindon are recruiting an experienced buyer to join their team, experience within construction would be preferred but is not essential.

Responsibilities will include:

Ordering materials as per site requests

Managing materials and consulting with suppliers and site

Checking of invoices before payment

Check that the purchase price, quantities, and sizing is correct.

Update all paperwork and create purchase order for invoicing

Building relationships with both internal and external customers

This is not an exhaustive list of tasks as the role will develop with the right candidate.

Experience and Skills required:

Good level of education

Driving licence and own transport

Must have strong Excel and Microsoft office skills.

Must have excellent Customer Service skills with the ability to build ongoing relationships

The ability to multitask and forward plan is paramount

In return:

Salary is negotiable dependent on experience

25 days Annual Leave + BH

Hours of work 8am to 5pm
