The purpose of the role will be to provide a quality and consistent HR service supporting and advising managers to ensure HR policies are understood and implemented. Taking responsibility for HR projects. Working on ER cases and sickness absence and to support general casework and recruitment initiatives.

Advising managers and staff on HR matters and correctly implementing HR policies, assist in investigations for disciplinary and grievance cases, providing support to managers on redeployment and HR issues, coordinate recruitment campaigns, supporting the Hd of HR on the People Strategy. Monitoring of sickness absence data, attend meetings with Trade Unions, manage ER issues.

CIPD (or working towards).
At least 3 years operational generalist HR experience.
Excellent employment law knowledge.
Experience of providing HR advice and support to managers and experience of working on HR projects.
Knowledge of E-literature.
Ability to influence and support managers on HR professional matters.
Sound knowledge of employment law and HR Best Practice.
