We are looking for several experienced children's residential support workers for full time permanent roles in the Barnard Castle and Staindrop areas.
The young people you will be supporting have social, emotional and mental health support needs and you will need tobe comfortable with employing restraint techniques following appropriate training.
The purpose of this role is:
Staff will be given their own responsibilities within the home depending on the strengths of the Residential Care Worker. The ability to maintain confidentiality of client information is also important.
You do not necessarily need an NVQ in Children and Young People to apply for the support worker role but you must be experienced in a residential setting and be able to complete a full enhanced DBS check or hold one on the update service.
This is a permanent position for full time hours on a rota basis, including some sleepover duties.
