Pay Rates & Benefits

  • £10.50-£11.00 per hour, plus paid mileage allowance.

Hours of Work

  • You will be required to work a mix of hours, including some early morning, early evenings, and a few hours on alternate weekends.

You will have your own set of regular clients, so no constant changing rotas.

Job Description

Being a Care Professional is an extremely rewarding job. You will be supporting clients with a variety of daily tasks, some of which may include:

  • Help someone get out of bed in the morning or into bed at the end of their day.
  • Run a bath or shower and be close by if they need assistance.
  • Assist with dressing & undressing and personal care when required.
  • Provide medication reminders.
  • Accompany clients to appointments and social events.
  • Prepare healthy meals and snacks.
  • Support with household bills, pick up a prescription or do some shopping.
  • Carry out some light housework, laundry, or ironing.
  • Above all, be the person who shows friendliness, warmth, and empathy.

Essential Criteria

  • Ability to treat and care for clients and their property with dignity and respect.
  • Ability to adapt to various living environments and locations
  • Ability to listen, communicate clearly and build relationships with clients and their families in a friendly and pleasant manner.
  • A valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle, with Business Class1 Insurance.
