Residential Children's Support Worker - Multiple Roles Available

Your new role
To work as part of a multidisciplinary team offering a comprehensive service to young people and their families / carers. To ensure the physical, emotional, social, intellectual, spiritual and developmental needs of young people are met. To support young people within a therapeutic environment to recognise their past, enjoy the present and prepare for the future

What you'll need to succeed
Minimum 6 months experience within a similar role
To be able to demonstrate an awareness and understanding with the support of physical, social, and emotional needs of children and young people who have experienced trauma or may have additional support needs
Caring and passionate person with an awareness of issues affecting vulnerable children and young people
Well organised individual with excellent time management
Ability to work under pressure
Active listening skills
Ability to raise children's and young people's confidence and communicate this effectively
Driving license Essential
The postholder will be required to maintain an appropriate professional registration with the Scottish Social Services Council which for the post of Practitioner is set at SCQF level 7 (for example, SVQ3 Care plus an HNC).
