  • Salary: £9.50-£10.97 per hour
  • Full-time posts available (part-time may be considered - minimum 2-3 weekdays)
  • Hours: 38 hours per week according to rota

(Or 19 hours per week part-time - additional hours available as a Support Worker)

  • Reports to: Day Opportunities/Supported Living Service Manager
  • Location: Adult Services - Supported Living & Day Opportunities
  • Responsible for: Support Workers, Service Users, and volunteers
  • Location: NW11, London

An exciting opportunity has become available to join a very well-established company that supports adults within a supported living service in Northwest London, NW11.

We are looking for enthusiastic people, to support service users with learning disabilities to live life the way they want, be independent, included in their communities and enjoy life.

The ability to support individuals with their Jewish observance, and work/volunteer experience with disabilities, are definite advantages, but we're happy to train you if you can prove commitment to our client's shared values:

The role is varied and no two days are the same. It will include:

organising activities that the service users want to engage in, such as Jewish activities, exercise, shopping, cooking, music, gardening and fun enabling meaningful work experience support with personal care needs building opportunities and relationships in the local community.

To be considered, you Must have the following,

  • NVQ Level 2 Health and Social Care
  • Experience working in services for adults with learning disabilities.

Flexible shifts: Weekdays, evenings, overnight, weekends/Shabbos: £9.50-£10.97 per hour dependent on qualifications
