Working Foreman

Job Title: Working Foreman on pub refurbishment jobs and social housing works

Job Type: Temporary to Permanent after 13 weeks

Location: Norfolk

Company & Project:

Our client has an opportunity to provide Maintenance and reactive repairs, as well as minor works, across several clients in Norfolk. The type of work that will be carried out ranges from fitting doors to full kitchen and bathroom refits and refurbishments of both houses and commercial buildings.

Duties & Responsibilities (not limited to):

  • Supervise, co-ordinate and monitor sub-contractor’s performance and own staff
  • Proven track record in successfully delivering projects to a high standard
  • Withstand an intense, high pressure environment delivering projects to strict deadlines
  • You would be responsible for fit out trades onsite, delivering a high specification finish, on time and on budget.
  • Maintain a tidy, safe, and efficient site at all times
  • Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications building regulations and good building practice
  • Attending progress meetings with clients and/or representatives
  • Be prepared to go on the tools if and when required

Desirable Experience:

  • Appropriate construction qualifications or time served
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Well organised and have the ability to multi task
  • Ability to work well using initiative, problem solving when required
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Health & Safety qualified

Pay/Hours:

£19 -£20 per hour CIS and after 13 weeks £34,000 per annum. Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm, 30 minutes lunch.
