A leading digital automotive company are seeking a Mid-level Designer to join their design team.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering outstanding digital design to support the way they communicate visually to their automotive clients including VW, BRP & Lucid.
The Opportunity
This role is hybrid working which means that you can work from both the award-winning studio on Newcastles Quayside and from your home office. This is a great mix of feeling part of the team whilst also giving you the focused time that you need to thrive!
Key responsibilities include developing and deploying new brand guidelines and adapting them to new scenarios as they grow as a company.
The Role
  • Responsible for creating and applying brand design principles and assets across a range of media with an excellent eye for detail
  • Design and support the development of the new website
  • Design consistent excellent visual keynotes for marketing, commercial, and sales projects
  • Elaborate and provide continuous support to brand guidelines and templated assets

The Person
  • 3+ years of experience on creative/digital agencies or in-house creative teams
  • A thorough understanding of user centred design processes and in-depth knowledge of art-direction including multimedia design across all platforms and devices
  • Strong knowledge of design tools, especially Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator), as well as prototyping tools such as XD and Figma Jira
  • Experience sketching and illustrating concepts and ideas using illustration, mood boards, storyboards, style frames, wireframes, process flows and prototypes
  • Ability to present and communicate your design decisions to stakeholders
  • Be organised and have good time management skills (even better if experienced on project and time management tools, like Jira)
  • Creative ideas with a strong problem-solving mindset and the ability to challenge conventional ways of thinking and working
