Salary up to £65,000 - car allowance of £3.8k and pension scheme

Carriera are thrilled to announce we have an opportunity for an outstanding Project Manager to start immediately. Our client is a global leader in engineering, design and project management consultancy. About the role:

You will be joining an established team of Project Managers, play a key role in implementing strategy of growth in key market sectors across London and the Southeast Project Management Service line. This will be done whilst you are demonstrating a proven record in delivering effective project management services to clients (ideally in the Northwest). You will show a commitment to continuous improvement and deepen your client understanding. As Senior Project Manager you will contribute to our client’s strategic growth and initiatives.

Additionally, you will have effective leadership of Project Management services in a client facing role whilst leading the management and execution of construction projects through the whole project lifecycle. You will establish and build positive and collaborative relationships. You will be acting as a lead client interface in providing service delivery and will have responsibility for the commercial success of project accounts placed under your control. You will ensure service delivery compliance with our client’s policies, toolkits and standards.

You will work with colleagues to mentor, coordinate and support the development activities of Junior team members and supporting the development of new business opportunities in line with business strategy. You will lead the preparation of fee proposals and bid submissions whilst also leading large scale, complex projects from inception through to completion with minimal support from senior colleagues.

About you:

Recent client facing Project Management consultancy experience is highly desirable. Our client is looking for a highly motivated and collaborative Project Manager Practitioner experienced in delivering larger and more complex projects. If you have strong interpersonal and leadership skills this may be the next chapter in your career.

You must have experience in JCT and/or NEC contract administration is essential as is Client facing experience, including working with Clients on a commission/project basis in conjunction with senior colleagues.

You will have a degree qualification (or equivalent) in a construction related discipline and have a professional member of a recognised professional institution (MRICS, MAPM or equivalent). You will be supporting the development of new business opportunities for new or repeat business whilst leading the preparation of fee proposals and bid submissions. You will lead large scale, complex projects from inception through to completion with minimal support from senior colleagues.
