Our client has an upcoming vacancy for a Specialty Grade Doctor to work within each of their Acute Adult Services.
Specialty Grade Doctor - 15 bedded mixed acute ward
Specialty Grade Doctor - 14 bedded mixed acute ward
Working within the Adult Acute Service line, you will be supervised and supported by consultants who have a keen interest in medical education and career development, between them having College Tutor and RCPsych CASC Examiner experience.
The vacancies on those two wards have arisen due to the current post holders moving to Core and Higher Training, respectively.
Both consultants are highly invested in supporting your career aspirations and progression. With you, they will develop bespoke opportunities to facilitate this, be that through weekly supervision, examination practice, involvement in management opportunities, teaching and Quality Improvement initiatives, to name but a few.
The successful candidates will work closely alongside established Multidisciplinary teams. They will deliver excellent clinical care for patients, to help them achieve their recovery goals and work towards a successful discharge.
The posts have an on call commitment, currently at 1:10 frequency.
This hospital has multiple other service lines including: CAMHS, Eating Disorders, PICU and Rehabilitation Services - the opportunity for you to have wider learning and development is therefore very significant.
