Your new role

Our client is looking for a Finance Assistant (Accounts Receivable), to support them in a permanent role. During the role you will be responsible for:

  • Being the main point of contact for student queries
  • Billing
  • Sales Ledger
  • Credit control
  • Year-end
  • Financial returns
  • Donations to charity
  • Reporting


What you'll need to succeed

  • Excellent numeracy skills and good report writing skills
  • Excellent organisation and prioritising skills
  • Good interpersonal skills, including ability to develop good working relationships
  • Previous experience as Finance Assistant or Accounts Receivable assistant
  • Some Technical accounting knowledge, experience of month end, and vat returns in particular
  • Experience of higher education
  • Qualifications: Finance qualification e.g. AAT/PQ, ACCA/PQ, OR CIMA/PQ
  • IT: Intermediate Excel (essential)
