Accounts Manager

A growing solicitors based in Doncaster that specialises within personal injury is looking to recruit an Accounts Manager to run a small team. The team currently consists of 3 account executives.

The role includes but is not limited to:

"Processing of client and office accounting transactions

"Dealing with inquiries and payments from clients

"Work allocation amongst the team.

"Team meetings and 1-2-1s.

"Monthly Bank Reconciliations.

"Bank transfers.

"Monitoring client and office accounts.

"Supervising payment of suppliers and reconciling invoices.

"Working knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules.

"Liaison with COFA (director responsible for client money).

"The candidate will need to develop a good understanding of the rules for client money that solicitors' firms have to adhere to.

Skills Required:

"Knowledge of proclaim would be an advantage

"Knowledge of the Solicitors Accounts Rules ( Ideally )

"In depth knowledge of excel spreadsheets

"IT user skills

"Excellent keyboard skills

"Pays attention to detail

"Diligent and methodical work ethic

"Ability to work as part of a team

"A positive approach to working under pressure in a busy environment

The role does not require significant or detailed knowledge of Costs Rules as that is dealt with by our in-house costs team.

What they are offering :

The role can either be office based on our hybrid model - 4 days a fortnight working in the office remainder working at home though to begin with would be full time office-based.

Salary is up to £30,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
