Interim Finance Business Partner

Robert Half are partnered with a prestigious business in North Yorkshire to recruit for a Finance Business Partner on an interim basis for 12 months. The main role of the Commercial Finance Business Partner is to work with stake holders across the business to drive strong business performance by providing insightful and collaborative commercial decision-making support.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Business Partnering: - Modelling commercial scenarios and providing commercial support
  • Provide insightful sales contribution & profitability analysis, using internal & external data. - Support the decision-making
  • Support audit process
  • Financial Management - Providing budget and forecast support for the various teams and stake holders across the business.
  • Contribute to the delivery of robust monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts through analysis and insightful support
  • Review financial controls & process on a regular basis and recommend improvements. Perform all relevant regular system checks to ensure the integrity of the numbers.

Skills/Experience required: -

  • The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified accountant with commercial finance experience.
  • You will be expected to partner at a strategic level and therefore will need to demonstrate great communication skills, and the ability to challenge, influence, coach and train.
  • You will be a self-starter that possesses strong analytical skills, and be able to communicate and translate financial information to non-financial managers to assist decision making.
  • You will also have strong IT skills, a willingness to learn and an advanced understanding of Excel and the full MS Office package.

The role is offered on a 12 month fixed term basis with an attractive benefits package and a salary of £50 - £55k. Hybrid working is also on offer and you will be working for an business that truly embraces flexible working. This role is to start ASAP but there could be some flexibility for the right candidate.
