About the company

You will be working for a highly progressive and professional company who offer FM services to ensure that their clients' facilities are maintained to the highest possible standards. Their clients cover a wide range of sectors including retail, commercial and logistics to name a few. You will be part of a national provider who work with some of the UK's leading brands.

Your role

As the Senior Health & Safety Manager you will be responsible for leading the health & safety function from the Head Office as well as the various client sites. You will be responsible for updating, monitoring and reviewing the health & safety policies for the company.

The role will also include associated management duties including:

  • Carrying out and reviewing risk assessments across the client portfolio.
  • Keep up to date with HSE and industry legislation.
  • Attending QSHE meetings with the Directors of the organisation.
  • Review of serious health & safety issues.
  • Monitoring customer feedback trends.
  • Maintain statutory & regulatory compliance.
  • Management of a small team of H&S professionals.

About you

  • NEBOSH Diploma - equivalent or higher.
  • Extensive experience of managing H&S within the facilities management sector -ideally for a maintenance or FM service provider. Experience within large retail organisations would also be considered.
  • Lives within commuting distance of South West London/Surrey.
  • Strategic & operational H&S management experience.
  • Health & Safety management experience within a customer facing environment.
  • Experience of updating, reviewing and monitoring health & safety policies.
  • Excellent report writing skills.
  • Experience of Fire Safety would also be highly advantageous.


This role is commutable from South West London / Surrey.
