Electrical QS

The Role

The successful applicant will join the company as a field based on the tools senior engineer and then develop into a management role as additional electricians are onboarded. The applicant will work across 2 key areas of the business:

  • Wiring up newly installed boilers in domestic properties

  • Installation of Electric Vehicle Chargers in domestic properties.

Both areas of the business are experiencing very fast growth and have significant growth plans for 2022 and beyond. We are recruiting for a field based Electrical QS who will initially complete boiler wire ups and EV Charging point installations (Training and qualification provided by us). Once embedded, the applicant will then transition to overseeing electricians completing the above works as the business transfers from a sub-contractor based workforce to direct labour. As this transfer takes place we expect this role to also reposition from an installer to a manager.


The role will consist of:

  • To carry out boiler wire ups and installation of EV Charging points.

  • To assist in growing a team of electricians throughout London and the South East.

  • Carry out audits and feedback to electricians.

  • Support electricians on more complex jobs.

  • Shared POC for electricians once they are live on the patch.

  • Electrical technical support for electricians.

  • To manage our current NICEIC membership.

  • To report directly to our Directors for EV Charging and Heating System Installs.

  • To ensure we have suitably trained contractors for these works.

  • To keep up-to-date with changing legislation.


Required skills:

  • 18th edition electrical training.

  • 2 years experience as a qualified supervisor.

  • Experience with either boiler wire ups or EV Charger Installations. Training can be provided on one of these elements.


Additional Information:

  • This is a field based role working around London.

  • Company vehicle and fuel card provided.

  • Full-time. Mon - Fri 8am-5pm

  • Permanent.
