Health Safety & Environmental Manager

Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading Manufacturing company in their search for an experienced Health Safety & Environmental Manager to work in West Bromwich.

For the successful Health Safety & Environmental Manager our client is offering:
i. Competitive salary paying up to £37,000 depending on experience
ii. Monday to Friday 8:45am - 16:30pm
iii. Permanent position
iv. 25 days holiday + bank holidays
v. Paid sick scheme
vi. Pension scheme

The Role - Health Safety & Environmental Manager:

i. To ensure Environmental and Health and Safety Policy is implemented consistently
ii. Working with Production & Engineering to develop risk assessments and safe systems of work
iii. Investigate and collate all information in relation to any accidents/incidents
iv. Supporting the delivery of the HSE matrix
v. Review, writing and implementing suitable H&S procedures
vi. Advising & coaching employees on compliance with their legal H&S duties
vii Assist in the co-ordination and organisation of health surveillance, training and development

What our client is looking for in a Health Safety & Environmental Manager:

i. Have a positive attitude towards Health and Safety
ii. Minimum of 3 years Health & Safety experience within a Manufacturing environment
iii. NEBOSH certificate is ESSENTIAL
iv. Knowledge of current HSE legislation, in particular Permit to work / safe systems of work
v. Have excellent IT skills including MS Office
