Vacancy: UX Designer (Junior to mid-level)

Youll be joining Tracerco as the first hire to the UX team, reporting to the UX manager. This isnt your typical big corporate development team. Here youll really have a chance to be involved in all aspects of product design, dealing with web, desktop and even hardware platforms, and designing the services that use them. The UX team has a great opportunity to make a big impact on Tracercos diverse product lines and youll be a part of shaping the how the team grows.

Your responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand the business and market context for products
  • Work with product owners and customers to generate insight into needs, pains and context
  • Produce design concepts and prototypes at various levels of fidelity in order to test ideas and guide product development and engineering, then confidently present designs to business stakeholders for feedback and critique
  • Promote consistency of visual design and brand across all product development activities
  • Assist with and facilitate customer research and usability testing at all stages of design process
  • Contribute to the development of UX team, process and best practice within Tracerco
Requirements for the role:
  • Degree in design and/or technology field or demonstrable experience within a product development environment
  • Knowledge of UX design fundamentals and practices, as well as Front-end UI development knowledge or experience
  • Experience of communicating with and presenting to internal and external stakeholders
  • Interaction and user interface design experience (with examples or portfolio to present)
  • Proficiency with digital design tools (eg, Adobe XD, Figma, Adobe Photoshop, etc)
  • Experience of facilitating collaborative workshops
