Project Delivery Manager

We are looking to recruit a Project Delivery Manager on a permanent basis the role. This role is based in our UK division, which is near J6 of the M5 Worcester which is the operations and manufacturing centre for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

In this role you will be responsible for managing all aspects of project from parts procurement to successful delivery of the project on time in full.

Main Duties of the Project Delivery Manager:

  • Manage project management team
  • Adhere to established company policies, procedures, terms and conditions and legal matters that affect purchasing policies.
  • Coordinate and work with quality, engineering, planning and production operations to ensure 100% on-time delivery by establishing and monitoring schedule to proactively identify and address any issues.
  • Track payment milestones and ensure invoicing is prompt and in line with contract
  • Read through contracts and highlight/mitigate risks where identified
  • Run internal and client based kick off meetings to ensure understanding and stakeholder buy in
  • Manage customer communications, clarifications, shipment and other milestone schedule for projects associated with the assigned territory and channel partners
  • Manage timeliness and accuracy of order between engineering, manufacturing, construction and supply chain and channel partner resources
  • Support Finance in communicating with end customers and reps to ensure collection of cash on a timely basis
  • Identify and help capture value creation opportunities; minimize margin leakage including expedite costs, manage change orders and find opportunities to grow margin on assigned projects
  • Actively identify and help capture opportunities to provide value added services (extended warranty, maintenance contracts, etc.) and communicate those to appropriate groups (Aftermarket, Engineering and Sales) to facilitate such opportunities
  • Manage and mitigate risks associated with projects by reconciling internal order holds and contract management with interaction between all parties involved.
  • Mange the Procurement and logistics team to ensure purchased parts are as per schedule to enable an on time production start and subsequent on time in full to the customer.
