Litigation Fee Earner

File Handler/ Assistant File Handler - Non Volume Disease - Coventry (Hybrid working)
In this role you will be work with a Partner within the Strategic Disease Team on multi-track matter cases and strategic projects. You will be working on a mixed caseload of short and long tail disease claims. You will also be responsible for carrying out individual fee earning tasks on cases for and in support of the Partner.
Key Accountabilities
Compliance with court directions and timetables Drafting Court Documents Negotiation Advocacy, including attending telephone hearings Analysis of evidence Client Reporting Instructing and liaising with Counsel/experts Preparation of bundles Completing and updating MI
Essential Skills & Attributes
Preferably 3 years+ PQE or equivalent experience in this area Experience of disease claims handling (preferably litigated) Understanding of the litigation process Awareness of the disease market and legal developments Ability to work to targets and deadlines Attention to detail
