PGCE Trainee

Are you currently completing your PGCE? Are you looking to work in schools on your days off? Are you looking for a supportive company who will help you get your foot in the door of local schools?

MILK Education have been inundated with daily and weekly bookings from a variety of Primary and SEND schools in the Newcastle and North Tyneside area, and we are soon to have a number of vacancies for September 2022 for upcoming Teachers.

We have a variety of roles available covering different subject specialisms from Early Years through to Key Stage 2. Our immediate roles range from 1:1 SEND support, General Teaching Assistant and ad-hoc teaching cover. Our Schools are offering current PGCE Students the opportunity to work on an ad-hoc or short term basis on the days that you are available to work.

Working through MILK Education will not only kick start your teaching career but you will gain further experience from the local schools we have established relationships with.

In order to be considered for the roles we require you meet the following criteria;

  • Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident.
  • Two suitable references covering the last 2 years.
  • Hold a current DBS that is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
  • Minimum 6 months experience of working with young people
