We are currently looking for a non-destructive testing professional to become one of our Non-Destructive Testing Trainers, joining us on a full-time, permanent basis.

Your role

As a Non-Destructive Testing Trainer, youll deliver high-quality training in the NDT disciplines you are qualified in.

To ensure your success, youll be coached and mentored by a member of the team. You will have the chance to train and gain new certifications and will be supported until you are ready to step in front of a classroom and share your expertise.

Once you are trained, you will:

- Deliver a high standard of NDT training
- Update and develop training courses
- Review and assess students work
- Invigilate examinations in line with BINDT standards
- Maintain accurate training records
- Provide constructive and critical feedback on all training activities

About You

To join us as a Non-Destructive Testing Trainer, you will need:

- At a minimum, five years industrial experience as an NDT technician
- At a minimum, PCN Level 2 qualifications (preferably a combination of these methods RT Welds and RT Castings (Light and Dense Metals)
- Extensive knowledge in your NDT subject area
- The confidence, creativity and enthusiasm to plan and deliver lessons
- Excellent teamworking and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, including MS Word, Excel and Outlook

Level 2 qualifications in CR, WI, PT or VT would be advantageous to your application, as would any L3 qualifications. Previous experience in a training environment would also be desirable, but not essential, as training will be given.

Other organisations may call this role NDT Trainer, Technical Trainer, Trainer, Training Consultant, Trainer & Assessor, Assessor, Non-Destructive Testing Inspector, or NDT Assessor.

This role will require a DBS check.
