My Client is a leader in the design, manufacture, supply and support of high performance fluid control equipment, designed to perform under critical conditions of pressure and cleanliness, to satisfy demanding technical requirements worldwide.

A vacancy now exists for a Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager to manage the EHS management system (ISO45001 and ISO14001) and continue to support an accident free culture and maintain 100% regulatory compliance.
Roles & Responsibilities

As the Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintain and improve EH&S Management System, including the development of necessary EH&S programs and procedures to ensure compliance with national and local regulations; EH&S policies, procedures, programs, and Industry Best Practices.
  • Ensure compliance for conformance to the EH&S program by all site personnel, visitors and contractors through appropriate awareness level and task-specific training.
  • Facilitate the Site EH&S Council to support the EH&S Management System and serve as a technical resource to the EH&S Teams.
  • Work with site leadership to ensure improvement and compliance with all EH&S activities to support the EH&S Management System.
  • Promote outstanding EH&S performance through the implementation of comprehensive EH&S inspections and audits program and an incident investigation process that ensures the implementation of preventive and corrective actions.

Skills & Qualifications

To be considered for the Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager

  • NEBOSH certified in H&S at work as a minimum.
  • Knowledge of national and local laws and regulations of safety, health, and environmental programs.
  • Experience developing and implementing EH&S plans and programs.
  • Manufacturing experience with a working knowledge of electrical safety / LOTO, machine guarding, mechanical ventilation, high pressure testing, and ergonomics.
  • 3+ years of environmental, health and safety management experience. This position is approximately 75% safety and 25% environmental.
