The Inside Solution Sales Representative will be responsible for carrying and attaining a quota for assigned territories including public, charter and private schools. This role is responsible for achieving company-designated sales targets, and as a part of that, prospect, qualify and build relationships with new customers, and extend relationships with existing customers in the designated territory. Successful candidates will be proficient at qualifying leads, identifying decision-makers, determining customer needs, presenting and explaining the benefits of PowerSchool solutions, building strategic business plans, overcoming objections and closing sales. Expectations include the ability to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the product line to the customer and Inside Sales counterparts.

Ideal location is Folsom, CA. Preferred locations include Roanoke, VA or remote is a possibility. If working remote, you must be able to maintain a home office.

  • Ability to meet and/or exceed bookings goals and activity measurements
  • Using a solution sales approach to sell a PowerSchool product line to K-12 schools
  • Build and maintain a 3x pipeline with excellent forecast accuracy practices
  • Develop and execute on SalesLoft campaigns focused on specific territory and product offerings
  • Requires the individual to become well versed in a PowerSchool product line and services, beyond basic features and benefits
  • Being a positive member of a team environment while working independently to meet an aggressive quota
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, preferably in SaaS or education with a track record of
    exceeding quota
  • Team player mindset with drive, conviction, and positive energy
  • Strong organizational, communication, presentation and time management skills
  • Sales abilities to meet or exceed sales targets within an assigned territory by positioning the competitive advantages of PowerSchool and the product line you support
  • Experience using CRM systems, preferred
  • Ability to develop and execute quality business and territory plans
  • Is proactive in solving customer issues and business challenges
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Rare travel
