PROJECT MANAGER – WATER DISTRIBUTION
A Pittsburgh based company is seeking to fill the position of Project Manager in the Distribution Department. The Manager Distribution manages the overall operation of the Distribution Department, makes work assignments, ensures compliance with safety regulations and street openings, and supervises the activities of the operational functions in the Distribution Department. Additional duties include:
Proposes and evaluates water line replacements
Consults with crews on problems with main or service lines.
Responsible for calling emergency one-call number if underground line location is necessary
Operates the backhoe and crane for loading and unloading material
Ensure inventory is accurate and available
Bachelor's degree in business management or engineering preferred or 10 years of water works construction experience required, minimal high school diploma required; must possess mechanical skills as well as have organizational and managerial skills; must be willing to attain a Class E water distribution license.
