Position Overview

This new role is an outstanding opportunity to join a fast moving and fast growing SaaS technology company! Diligent is growing rapidly and we are building a world-class HR and Recruitment team to scale with that growth. This role will report to the Manager of Talent Acquisition working as part of a growing, dynamic recruitment team. You will face off with the business delivering on a variety of functional roles across the America's Region. This role will be a great platform for an experienced recruiter who is looking to leverage their candidate generation and business relationship-building skills in a highly transformative and evolving company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work directly with hiring managers to define and draft job specifications and advertisements aligned with employer branding efforts.
  • Identify and source talent for approved roles through advertising, networking and utilizing candidate generation platforms, and assess pipeline needs for future talent.
  • Demonstrate understanding of our diverse business needs and work with managers across all of our international offices to ensure consistent best practices in recruitment and interviewing techniques.
  • Leverage the use of technology, including applicant tracking systems and other recruiting systems to track applicants from sourcing through to on-boarding. Stay close to the market and adapt to new and changing technology best suited to Diligent's needs.
  • Manage third party recruitment agency relationships when appropriate to ensure strong partnerships with a strong sense of accountability from our partners.
  • Effectively face off with candidates, articulate the unique value proposition of the firm, and get candidates engaged on the Diligent proposition. Advise candidates on our benefits, salary and culture and effectively work through salary and offer negotiations.
  • Provide market insight to the business including competitive intelligence, compensation trends and other key talent factors evolving in the industry.

Required Experience/Skills

  • Ability to deliver on a high-volume, varied role portfolio
  • Experience recruiting for transformative, fast-paced businesses - ideally for tech-driven companies.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, especially in Excel
  • Highly motivated to deliver on goals and business requirements.
  • Warm, professional and engaging disposition
  • Analytical and results focused, but with a strong ability to multitask
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, across all audience levels
  • Comfort working both independently and in a team setting
  • Accountability mindset, for oneself and others
