As a Software Engineer at Boston Dynamics, you will join our Warehouse Robotics Controls team to provide hardware diagnostics software for our mobile robot fleet. Every day, you will develop, test, and debug hardware interfaces, failure detection algorithms, and reporting software in order to bring our Warehouse robots into advanced automation environments at scale. In order to thrive in this role, you must be able to understand and contribute to a modern C++ codebase, and be genuinely interested in learning and understanding the intricacies of real robot hardware.
Day to day activities:
Implement hardware failure and anomaly detection algorithms in modern C++.
Write user-friendly diagnostic software for helping repair the robotic fleet.
Analyze data to understand robot performance
Communicate progress and results to a multidisciplinary team.
Possible Intermittent travel (Boston Dynamics is not requiring international travel at this time, per local and state guidelines).
