THE ROLESince its inception, Hylands Golf Club has matured into a top-quality golf facility that offers a full range of services and amenities to its1200 members and their guests. A true jewel among Canadian Forces golf facilities, Hylands continues to host numerous regional, national and international events. As part of CFMWS, our mandate is to provide affordable golf to our local military personnel and their families.
Working in a team, the incumbent will maintain the golf course property using powered and manual equipment and ensuring compliance with the Health and Safety Programs, in conjunction with management.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDEDEducation, Certifications and Licenses
High School diploma AND some years of experience in landscaping
Valid driver’s license class G (Ontario) or equivalent
Experience
In landscaping or grounds maintenance
In operating specialized turf care equipment
Knowledge
Of landscaping practices and techniques
Of health and safety practices
Of the rules and strategies of the game of golf, an asset
Of Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS)
Competencies, Skills and Abilities
