MKS Power Solutions' products provide plasma generation and control solutions for semiconductor manufacturing processes. We are a key supplier to the worlds' largest electronics producers and are currently experiencing tremendous growth. As the semiconductor manufacturing industry is continuing to push the envelope in terms of device density, wafer uniformity, and device speed, high speed plasma control becomes a significant technical challenge.
We are looking for an FPGA Engineer who will design, analyze, and develop software and gateware for controlling RF power delivery systems. A successful candidate is self-motivated and has a good understanding of FPGA design.
Opportunity to Learn: RF systems, signal processing, feedback control systems.
Design, implement, troubleshoot, and support control system electronics/software for RF power delivery systems
Develop models for simulations to analyze transient behavior of power delivery systems
Interface with customers to determine and develop specifications
Produce design documentation
Participate in firmware design reviews and recommend improvements.
Support new technology development initiatives
Interface with product engineering and other cross-functional teams as required.
Analyze and troubleshoot application issues
What you bring to the team:
BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering
1+ year of FPGA development experience (school, co-op, internship, project work count)
Hands-on laboratory experience and familiarity with electronic test equipment (school, co-op, internships, project work count)
Other job details:
Domestic & international travel (up to 10%)
Occasional work hour flexibility to accommodate international conferencing and deadlines
Role can be up to 60% remote
