About Hyde Leadership Charter School: Hyde Leadership Charter School is the only K-12 college-preparatory school serving students and families in the Hunts Point section of the South Bronx. On average 90% of our students graduate from high school each year, preparing them for college and for life. Maintain lab room and conduct labs
Keep track of student labs and minutes for regents' classes
Ensure high academic standards are set for and met by all students
Collaborate with other teachers to provide rigorous, standards-based learning to students
Execute rigorous, whole-group instruction based on individual needs of students
Use student performance data derived from teacher-created and standardized assessments to drive instructional decision making Skills/Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university A Master's degree in Education or relevant content area (preferred New York State Certification in 7-12 in Science (preferred) or Middle School Generalist Grades 5-9
Demonstrated success working in an urban school setting
Strong data tracking and analysis skills
An ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with colleagues, families and students
