OverviewThe Sales Development Intern will help find, develop and create new business opportunities for our sales team. This person will be responsible for assisting in managing and keeping track of leads developed. They will work with the Sales team to ensure each lead has a high-quality customer service experience. They will work with a Sales Development Manager to prioritize their efforts against PowerSchool's key objectives. They will be responsible for managing prebuilt, personalized reports and communicating to their manager the progress against their efforts.

- Interact with our Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to capture existing customer knowledge
- Partner with the Sales Development team on strategic customer communication
- Extract data from surveys, Internet databases, and other sources
- Update spreadsheets with confirmed customer information in real-time
- Ensure Leads and Opportunities are up to date and processed successfully
- Other duties as assigned
QualificationsQualifications include:- Obtaining a Bachelor Degree, a recent college graduate, or a professional transitioning between industries/career paths
- Familiarity with Salesforce and ClickTools a plus
- Effective communication, presentation, organizational, planning, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customer on the telephone and via e-mail
- Strong follow-up skills
- Strong analytical and data-driven background to effectively communicate recommendations with the Sales Development Managers
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced, high-intensity environment
- Strong entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to be flexible and part of a growing and empowered team
- Strong self-driven personality with a keen sense of delivering completed projects in a timely manner
- Self-motivated
