We are seeking qualified candidates for a Product Manager, Commercial opportunity at our Corporate Headquarters in Glen Allen, Virginia for the Commercial division. The Product Manager, Commercial's primary focus is to develop innovative best-in-class global commercial products that meet or exceed customer expectations and in turn both revenue and margin goals. This includes driving innovation, product definition, coordinating product development, pricing, and working with our global sales team drive business growth. Categories include current Hamilton Beach Commercial (HBC) products as well as new category development.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Creating and implementing a marketing and sales business strategy for our back-of-the-house categories to accelerate growth of our global Commercial food service business
  • Drive product innovation by targeting unmet user needs (chefs, food service operators, etc.)
  • Effective leadership of cross-functional teams to create and develop new products
  • Develop product marketing communications, working with cross functional commercial digital marketing and creative teams to more effectively launch new products
  • Partnering with sales team to develop and implement channel, and key customer strategies to maximize sell-through of new products

Basic Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field, MBA preferred
  • 5+ years relevant experience in product management, B2B product management experience preferred; commercial food service equipment experience is a plus
  • Culinary education and/or practical hands-on "back-of-house" restaurant experience
  • Experience in strategic development and marketing related to new products
  • Proven record of effectively managing cross-functional teams
  • Strong team leadership, presentation, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Ability to travel, up to 10%
  • Strong analytical skills, including high proficiency in Microsoft Office
