Care Practitioner

We are looking for motivated and passionate people to come and join our team as Care Practitioners in providing specialist therapeutic services to young children who have experienced complex trauma.

Rate of pay:

£22,249 to £23,506 (inclusive of 8 sleeps ins minimum per month)

Additional sleep ins are paid at £32 per sleep

Role overview:

* You would be expected to provide transportation, and support with household duties such as cooking, cleaning, washing, and organisation.

* Our staff ensure the children are completing medication, therapy, and achieving their goals.

* Paperwork is important aspect of the process, ensuring safeguarding of the children, supporting contacts, and key work sessions.

* As important to these duties, our residential care workers spend time with the children organising day trips, social events (shopping, cinema, exercise, sports), whilst offering guidance, support, and structure to the children's everyday lives.

* Full UK driving license (preferred but not essential)

* Level 3 Residential Childcare or Equivalent (preferred but not essential)

* We are looking for people who have life skills, having experience with children or health and social care would benefit but this NOT essential for us at Cambian as full training and support will be provided
