Our client have recently been going through an unrivalled period of growth and there are no signs of stopping. Due to the acquisition of a number of large, prestigious contracts recently, our Fire & Security Systems Project Department is expanding in numerous areas which means we are on the lookout for a number of fantastic Sales Specialist.

The purpose of this role is to professionally represent the Company’s brand and successfully sell all the Company’s products and services throughout the United Kingdom, ensuring achievement of an agreed sales target upwards of £750K per annum. We are looking for an exceptionally skilled and experienced consultative Sales Specialist who will be responsible for winning new business and developing accounts with end users, Electrical Contractors and Consultants who require a Fire and/or Security system plus the full range of other life safety and security solutions that we offer.

This is a Home Based role and will have full UK Coverage.

Your duties will include:

To prospect for new customers through personal development, cold calling, canvassing, marketing, referrals, and tender opportunities.

To attend sales appointments with a view to selling all the Company’s products and services

To achieve monthly activity and target objectives

Develop successful national sales opportunities to required level and handover to Major Account Manager.

Collate appropriate information and ensure all correct documentation is utilised

To provide reports as required

To represent the Company in a professional manner always

Constant attainment of agreed targets

Forecast reporting on a weekly basis and an up to date rolling three months forecast

Be continually aware of the changes in legislation & product development

Diarise all appointments and work activities on a daily basis

About you

We are looking for somebody who has fantastic experience within a similar role and somebody who has experience/knowledge of the fire and security industry. To be successful in this role, you will:

Have a proven track record in a structured target and activity driven sales environment with experience of delivering target amounts of close to £750K per annum.

Have a good technical and design knowledge of the Fire & Security Industry

Be able to produce your own designs, proposals and cost sheets from the systems provided

Have a high level of professionalism and be extremely customer focused

Good communication skills, on the telephone, face to face and written

Be activity driven (with a Hunter approach) and have excellent communication skills

You must have adaptability and a high attention to detail with drive, focus and creativity

You must be able to create a professional impression at all times with stakeholders both internally & externally and be excellent at building lasting customer relationships.
